PSK31 Isoterm Multicon CW-FSK
This new addition to the range is an update of the popular DATA-CW interface.
And has now provision to use CW or FSK RTTY Software .
This is not a switchable mode selection but can be configured for either at purchase.
In the CW configaration the Front Panel Jack socket is the Morse Key input.
While the REAR Panel jack socket goes to the CW Key input of the rig.
In the FSK configaration the front and Rear Jack sockets will have the FSK RTTY switching
signal present. as well as ability to have the FSK switching signal to be an integral core within the DATA cable.
Dependant of course on the Rig in question.
It was decided to leave both the Front and Rear jack sockets as standard even in the FSK configured unit.
This means at a later date if it was required that the customer wanted to change to CW there is only a
lead to change within the 9 Pin D plug.
One RED TX and One GREEN RX front panel mounted Leds show PTT switching activity.
The interchangeable cable allows the interface to be used with any transceiver.
The cable is terminated in a 6 Pin Mini Din plug to fit the interface and whatever
Plug is requested to suit the rig it is being purchased to drive.
Some rigs will have the FSK switching as part of the DATA mode cable.
Others may need a separate cables as well as the DATA cable,this is supplied in the price.
Only needing a change of cable to be plugged in ,to suit new transceiver connections.
There is now both Rx waterfall and Tx attenuator controls front panel mounted for operator convenience.
All paths between COMPUTER and TRANSCEIVER are isolated with
TRANSFORMERS in BOTH AUDIO LINES.
And a DIL RELAY in the PTT LINE
The Morse-FSK keying circuit is an OPTO ISOLATOR so continues the isolation on all modes
The Dil Relay for PTT control allows ALL rigs to have the PTT controlled from the software.
So no matter what rigs you intend to use, this unit will take care of the PTT switching.
On the computer side 2 – 3.5mm stereo jack plugs and a 9 Pin D connector are terminated in a tidy
Extruded aluminum box , 80mm Deep – 55 mm wide – 24mm High.
These two jacks are plugged into the Soundboard's LINE IN/ LINE OUT jack sockets.
With the 9 Pin D being connected to the Com's port of your computer, for PTT SWITCHING and CW -FSK Keying.
Both RTS for PTT and DTR (CW) or TXD (FSK) pins are connected in the 9 Pin D connector as required.
Both RX and TX attenuators are accessible .
This along with the PC Soundboard Audio controls helps prevent overdriving of the Rig.
And less traveling back and forwards to the Soundboard Sliders.
ALL ISOTERM interfaces are also suitable for SSTV-RTTY-PSK-31-WSJT and most other
Soundboard based data modes
ONLY the ISOTERM MULTICON- DATA-CW is suitable for morse transmission.
While the ISOTERM MULTICON DATA-FSK will transmit TRUE RTTY.
A suitable program for FSK RTTY is of course MMTTY.

Additional transceiver cables can be supplied at £12 if ordered with interface.
Or £12.00 plus p/p £1.50. if ordered at a later date..
Most transceivers can be accommodated.
