PSK31 Isoterm Dual Deluxe

A NEW UPDATE to the range is a FULLY ISOLATED DUAL DELUXE INTERFACE which is replacing the older dual model.

This allows operation of either of the 2 connected transceivers to be selected from the interfaces Selector Push switch.

All paths between the COMPUTER and BOTH TRANSCEIVERS have been isolated with

TRANSFORMERS in BOTH AUDIO LINES.

And a DIL RELAY in the PTT LINE

The addition of a Dil Relay allows ALL rigs to be switched including the YAESU 1000D-MP-Mk5.and indeed older ones to.

So no matter what pair of rigs you intend to use, this unit will take care of the PTT switching and drive requirements..

On the computer side 2 – 3.5mm stereo jack plugs and a 9 Pin D connector are terminated in an

extruded aluminium enclosure. This maybe black or aluminum finish.

These two jacks are plugged into the Soundboards LINE IN/ LINE OUT jack sockets.

Or in the case of a Laptop Mike and Phones jack sockets.

With the 9 Pin D being connected to the Com's port of your computer, for PTT SWITCHING.

If your Laptop does not have a 9 Pin RS232 serial port just ask me for advice on this issue.

Each channel has a preset RECEIVE AUDIO attenuator which are accessible through a recess in the base of the enclosure.

This allows for different Audio Receive outputs from the Transceivers to be balanced for Waterfall appearance.

Once this is set for a particular transceiver level no other adjustment is required unless the rig is changed.

While independent front panel TRANSMIT DRIVE controls are Front Panel mounted  these control the drive

so as to set POWER output  to the required levels. In the case of 100 watt rigs about 40 watts.

2 - 6 Pin Mini Din sockets allow cables to be presented to the Transceivers, these can of course facilitate many transceiver

connections making a change of rig a simple matter of changing the cable to suit a change of transceiver.

 Cables to suit customers choices are available separately

There are 4 LED indicators, showing the channel in use, and whether in RX or TX mode.

Transceiver connections

Most modern transceivers have DATA Accessory ports now, this Interface plugs into these when they are available.

For rigs without DATA ports some can be interfaced into the Mike input or Rear Patch inputs.

A variety of popular software's are supplied on CD.  PSK31-RTTY-SSTV- etc.

Information is also given on other web sites for additional info/software.

Extra sheets of instructions are enclosed with tips on various rigs and trouble shooting advice to help further.

The ISOTERM-DUAL DELUXE is also suitable for most other Soundboard based program's.
